Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa has called upon members of the church who are dissatisfied with how the church is managed to give peace a chance. He made this known in a press release he personally signed.

Oshoffa who currently heads the largest faction in the church described as false the reports in some online media platforms (Celestial Church Blog not inclusive) that division exists among members of the church’s Board of Trustees.






He identified the decision of the Church’s Constitution as sacrosanct, as it empowers him as the pastor of the church to take administrative decisions for the general welfare of the church thus no one among his board members is usurping his authority as the head of the church.

Emmanuel who is the first son of SBJ Oshoffa, the founder of the church therefore admitted that he nor any member of the church should engage in any form of tyranny, as the “Celestial Church is not and cannot be a breeding ground for tyrants” because “the Holy Spirit directs and we follow.” He therefore appeal to all aggressors within the church to sheath their swords and give peace a chance.
