Venerable Superior Evangelist A. A Aladeseye revealed that holding highly exalted positions in the church do not count as criteria in reigning at the right hand of God. Aladeseye made this known while delivering the sermon at the 56th Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service of CCC Ijaiye, Abeokuta on behalf of Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa.
During the sermon he maintained that it is the purity of one’s soul that will make members of the church reign with God not their membership of the church or the positions they hold in the church. He implored the congregation to use the occasion of this year’s harvest as an avenue to ensure a change of behaviour in the way they worship God. He noted that most Christians are too concerned with what God will do for then rather than what they will do for God in terms of helping others.
The shepherd of CCC Ikorodu 1 also revealed that every member of Celestial Church is a church worker. He said every member, irrespective of being male or female is gifted with a gift to provide in a helpful task in the church. He advised members to identify this gifts and ensure that they do not lose it.
