The discussion monitored on Celestial Sphere shows that members in francophone countries of Benin, Côte d'Ivoire and Togo are more devoted to the Church than their Nigerian counterparts. Surprisingly, this declaration were truthfully made by Nigerians.

“For the sake of emphasis...CCC started in Benin Republic...and till date they take the church to heart than many of us in Nigeria,” says Odidi Micheal Osilamah. He continued by saying “I visited Togo once and I attended a parish for the weeks I was there....even in a remote village the way the francophone people take CCC you will just see the difference.

“If Imeko was in Togo, trust me many Nigerians will not bother traveling there across boarded and spending much....but I get thrilled annually how this guys from Benin and Togo get filled in bus, not minding the distance to visit IMEKO yearly.”

He implored Celestians based in Nigeria to be more welcoming and homely. “The "Celesialness" in Nigeria needs to be improved....alot of new members want to join the church but we in it currently are not making them feel homely or welcomed....just like we NON YORUBAS are feeling so marginalised in a "Church of Christ,” he advised.

In the same vein, Jesuyon Oluwafemi Mosho was of the opinion that, “the origin, source of this church is from Benin Republic and no country in the world can take this from them, they always put their best on it. Nigeria are just after pastors and the pastors are after money.”
