A parish of Celestial Church of Christ in Leyton, London has completely been razed as a result of a fire outbreak.


The cause of the fire is not yet known, as <i>MyLondon</i> reports that on Monday, September 21 a fire outbreak consumed every item in the Church from the altar, chairs, cabinets and newly purchased musical instruments valued between £15,000 to £20,000, which is about 10 million naira.


The newspaper quoted words of the parochial chairman of the East London parish, Olayini Abodunrin as, “I was in the office very early that morning and I got a call from the landlord at half seven or eight that the church was gutted by fire. He said there was fire in the building in my church. I said wow," He added. "We invested so much in this building - cabinets, chairs. We wanted things done so when lockdown is lifted we get back to a new environment.
