Some members of the Church have always appealed that certain happenings regarding the Church are not to be posted on social media, but Bamisile Damilola says this appeal will continue to fall on deaf ears if the Church doesn’t set up mechanisms to address the grievances of members.


Bamisile gave this appeal why responding to a discussion on social media regarding the ways some clergies extort members in the name of spiritual works.


She mentioned that while posting negative issues of the Church on social media is wrong, as non members of the Church “may use this opportunity to pass ridiculous statements or comments to the church of God.” Also, she opined that clergies of Pentecostal Churches also engage in “looting the church fund, even committing adultery and fornication but they have disciplinary committee that handle such issues.”


Bamisile advised that the best way to prove to the world that Celestial Church is the last boat of salvation is for the various factional leaders of the Church to set up disciplinary committees that will checkmate the wrongdoings of clergies and to encourage members to make use of suggestions boxes when complaining about Church issues.
