Benjamin Oshoffa abuse celestial church members
Benjamin Oshoffa

In an apparent show of disregard for members of the Church, a Facebook post by Benjamin Oshoffa one of SBJ Oshoffa's son making use of abusive words on celestians has emerged on social media.

Benjamin Oshoffa who is an assistant superior evangelist in the Church is known to be vocal, but the extent of such Facebook post shows lack of respect for Church's faithfuls and a possible misappropriation of Church's fund.

The now deleted or hidden Facebook post, without any form of apology, was first published around September 19th, but was condemned by few members before it was deleted or hidden.

In the Facebook post, Benjamin wrote, "Oil money no dey dry!! Na una money I dey take fly up and down as a matter of fact I want buy range next year..in una next life, make una papa be founder.. aye yin ma baje ni ati pay Master yin.."

The usage of the term oil money refers to the huge anointment fee paid by members in order to be promoted to a higher rank in the Church. In recent times some members of the Church had been calling for transparency regarding how the money is spent.

The expression, ".. in una next life, make una papa be founder," connotes that the family of the founder enjoy unfettered financial privileges from the Church purse and there is little Church members can do about it. The below are the initial reactions by members of the Church.
