The death of a Shepherd who died during the Christmas Morning service at Imeko has been announced. He is Venerable Superior Evangelist Peter Tanpinu of Majiyagbe Parish, Ipaja, Lagos. There are conflicting reports surrounding his death. 

 

While some reports claimed he died while conducting the Christmas Service, others mentioned that he died while he was about receiving the holy communion, another said the unfortunate incident happened after the watch night service.

The shepherd elder brother Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Stephen Tanpinu slept in the Lord on June 13th. Many who pour out their emotions on social media said they spoke to him at Imeko during the Christmas convocation/convention.

According to Tayewo Osiyemi, the late Shepherd was a quintessential shepherd who devoted all his resources both physical and financial to serving and worshiping God. May his soul rest in peace.
