Members of CPAAN with EMF Oshoffa

Akinyele Emmanuel to CPAAN, Rewarding EMF with an award without giving to Omoge, Adeogun, Shonekan, others dangerous.

The body claiming to be an association of artistes in Celestial Church, Celestial Performing Artistes Association of Nigeria (CPAAN) has been advised to address the issue of factionalization in the Church amongst other issues.

This advice is coming based on the recent award recently given to Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa by the group without being given to other claimants of the pastoral seat. Akinyele Emmanuel gave this suggestion to CPAAN in an article seen by Celestial Church Blog.

Akinyele observed that the group has failed to address the issue of loyalty to any of the factional leaders of the Church while the issue was raised when the group was to be formed in 2021, rather it went ahead to give an award to Reverend EMF Oshoffa.

"The association failed to address any of the matter discussed; however the association further went to award Rev. EMF Oshoffa without addressing the issue of factionalization in the Church. The association should be ready to also award Rev. Omoge, Rev. Adeogun, Rev. Shonekan, Rev. Orovoni etc.

"The executive of CPAAN can’t turn blind eyes to the fact that some questions seriously need urgent attention; under which pastoral directive will CPAAN operate? Maybe CPAAN will operate without any pastoral directive; whether from Ketu or from diocese or from Ajase."

Akinleye noted that although the group might have been formed to check the mis-normal and negative behaviour of musicians in the fold, it fails to stand in tandem with "the provision of the Church Constitution; the establishment of Celestial Performing Artistes Association of Nigeria (CPAAN) is against the laws that guide the management of the Church."
