Clerics of the Church, anointed with the ranks of Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist (A/V/S/E) and Venerable Superior Evangelist (V/S/E) between December 2022 and June 2023, have been advised to submit their details along with the payment of an additional ₦5,000. This amount is distinct from what they paid before their anointment.
According to a news report by the Church's spokesperson, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, these clerics should provide their anointment details, including full names, recent passport photographs, telephone numbers, addresses, authentic payment receipts, and dates of birth. These details are to be sent to Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Gouan Barthelemy.
Ajala emphasized that these details are necessary for the "issuance of the new anointment certificates, which come with a QR code and a unique identification feature," and the associated fee is ₦5,000.
In response to a query from Celestial Church Blog regarding whether senior clerics had previously received certificates for their current anointment and the amount paid for those certificates, Ajala clarified, "The new certificates to be issued bear security features like a QR code and unique identification features. This is to eliminate the production and circulation of a fake version of the previously issued certificates. The old certificates were covered by the fee paid for anointment."
