Tosho Oshoffa
The name Olatosho Oshoffa is the most sought after for news by members of Celestial Church of Christ, since the day he left the faction of his elder brother and decided to stay alone.

There are mixed reactions to his actions, as those from EMF Oshoffa's faction see him as a traitor and a rebel. However, those from the other numerous factions in the Church see him as a hero, who could dare his brother and speak the 'truth'

Anywhere he goes, the younger Oshoffa do attempt to defend his action, by denying that his action is not a coup d'etat against his brother, but he is only following the order of Reverend SBJ Oshoffa, the founder of the Church, who order him to unify the Church.

In one of his speeches, Tosho said" I thank God today, Imeko is no more a place, where we would say it is only one faction that would come in there. No! Imeko City is the home of every Celestial Church member"

The statement above gives hope to members of the Church, as we all envisaged a scenario where every faction will be under one roof at Imeko to observe the Christmas service come December 24th 2015.

One of the positives of Rev. Tosho's action is his consultations with other factions in the Church. He is building bridges which had never been built since the beginning of the pastoral tussle which started after the death of Reverend S.B.J Oshoffa.

He has been to Baba Maforikan, Baba Owodunni, Baba Johnson Bammeke, Baba Adeogun and a host of others, in other to justify the task of 'Unifying The Church'.

Rev. Tosho, like some other organizations in the Church, had identified that Baba Banjo and Baba Owodunni are the two most prominent members of the Church that must be united in order to bring the various factions together under one leadership.

This he made known in a recent publication in The Builder, where he acknowledged that it is illegal to re-draft the Church Constitution without the consent of Baba Owodunni.

"To face reality, you cannot re-draft the constitution of this Church without the consent of Baba Owodunni and Baba Banjo. Working with Baba Banjo alone without Baba Owodunni is illegal." he said.

However, there are issues which seems illogical to some members about Rev. Tosho unification plan.

One of which is, the title of Reverend which he has added to his name. Some members of the Church, even members of his family have expressed deep bitterness over the title.

A member who spoke with Celestial Church Blog on a condition of strict anonymity, said if he (Rev. Tosho) want to unite the Church, he is welcome, but claiming to be a Reverend is unacceptable.

However, the biggest flaw Rev. Tosho is making in his plan of unifying the Church is the non attention and neglect of the 27 man Unification committee led by Evangelist E.B Opaleye.

The Unification Committee led by Evangelist Opaleye has done a lot of work since 2010 especially in the area of reviewing the Constitution of the Church. What then would happen to the diligent works of this committee?

Many questions beg for answers as we look forward towards the unification of our Church, but we need to keep praying vehemently to a quick divine solution to this disgraceful leadership crisis in the Church.
