Senior Evangelist S.O Odeyemi has describe the division in the Church has as the work of the devil. He made this known while addressing the youth of the Church at the just concluded 18th Annual Youth Conference of the Church.

The octogenarian while narrating his role in unifying the Church, said "greed made the Church break into three at inception. There was a time I and my partner were working to unify the Church. I was chosen as the head of the 42 members to work" in order to make the Church one.

The former Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos warned that the Church cannot fulfill the duty Christ has given to the Church if division still exist in the fold.

"If we want to fulfill the duty Christ has given us, we must become one. We have to come together as one, because division in the Church is against the will of God."

He added that God cautioned him against supporting any faction in the Church. "God told me not to be party to anyone of them. He also told the youth not to join them. I will not join the groups that are scattering the Church." he said.

Professor Odeyemi said that after the harvest of his parish, he divides the proceeds (ipin) made from the harvest to 14 different parts and send each one to all the 14 fractional spiritual heads in the Church as a sign of his neutrality in the division being witnessed in the Church.
