It gladdens my heart to welcome you to this episode of my sermon on Celestial Church Blog. I supplicate the Lord for the grace to always abide in Him.

We shall be studying a portion of Apostle Paul's Epistle to the Thessalonians in 1 Thessalonians 2:13-20. The topic is "The Efficacy of the Word".

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Romans 10:17.

Brethren, Saint Paul confirmed the impact of the word of God in the life of the Thessalonians (2:13-16). The mistake of most "Christians" in our time is the lackadaisical attitude to the word God. The Bible, sermons, Bible Classes, Seminars, Revivals etc are available for us to enhance our knowledge of God.

But as said earlier, most people don't value all these. One may be tempted to conclude that it is the tactic of the Devil to frustrate a cordial relationship of God with His people.

The Bible confirmed that a time of famine shall be experience on earth, not of food or water, but of the word of God.

I beseech you my dear reader, to acquire much of the undiluted word of God that will enhance and maintain your new life in Christ and most importantly prepare you for His kingdom to come. 1 Peter 1:23, 2 Peter 3:5, Pro 30:5, Isa 40:8, Luke 8:11, Heb 4:12
