The topic is "What's next after the death of Christ". The epistle of Apostle Paul to the Ephesians established the importance of the spread of the gospel to the gentiles. The Bible says faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. Rom. 10v17 NIV.
Our Lord Jesus Christ called his disciples then for two major reasons. They were needed to assist him at spreading the gospel to the world. The second reason was that the disciples would continue to spread the gospel after Christ departure (physical) on earth till his second appearance.
Below are some of the vital facts about those things we should do after the death of Chirst:
1. Spreading the gospel round the universe is the task of all Christian. Rom. 10v8; Mk 1v15, 8v35.
2. Failure to spread the gospel is a betrayal of the trust of Christ on Christians. Matt. 28v19; 2 Ti 4v5.
3. Spreading of the gospel strengthen the Church and wins souls into God's kingdod. Phi. 1v27.
4. Spreading the gospel is not restricted to the pulpit. Lk 11v41 , 12v33.
5. The major target of our evangelism should be to win souls and not money making ventures.
6. My dear reader begin or continue to function in the capacity of a minister of the gospel, win souls for God and cause jubilation in heaven.
