To God be the honour, glory and adoration. Peace be unto you as we discuss another topic of my sermon on celestial Church blog.

I sincerely appreciate every individual that visit this Page on a regular basis. The text for the week is 1 Corinthians 7v12-15. The topic is "For God has called us to peace ".

The first epistle of Paul to the Corinthians in chapter seven addressed marriage as a good way of preventing immorality. The four verses (12-15) considered as the text for this sermon is Apostle Paul's advise for peaceful co-existence among people of confirmed differences.

According to Apostle Paul, if any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. Same goes for a sister who is a believer but has a gentile as her husband.

My personal interest in the text is the readiness of a husband /Wife, boss, pastor, father, mother or any individual to embrace the peace of the Lord and live harmoniously with people of unique differences.

We can learn the following moral lessons from the topic.
1. Maintaining peaceful co-existence is more recognised when there exists natural differences among the parties.
2. The teaching on relating with an unbeliever should not be a reason of getting attached to an unrepentant sinner that will drag one to hell fire.
3. The unbeliever must show genuine willingness to repent.
4. Relating with unbeliever goes beyond husband - wife relationship.
5. Relating with an unbeliever is a game. (survival of the fittest).
6. A believing man or woman is not bound in such circumstances.
