Pastor Femi Emmanuel
Christians have been counseled that going to Church and performing activities during Church services are not the required service God expect from them.

This counsel was made known by Femi Emmanuel, in his daily devotion guide, Turning Point Today for Tuesday 27 September, 2016.

Pastor Femi said the only way one can demonstrate he/she loves God is to love his/her fellow human being. "God created all: the poor, the rich, the lame, the weak, the strong, the sick, the healthy and so on. No matter how poor you consider yourself to be, some people are poorer than you do." he said.

He was of the opinion that less-privileged people are assignment God has given Christians to take care of. "Every less-privileged person around you is God's project for you. He wants you to attend to them and care for them also. God want you to lift them up.

"Service to God is not going to Church, listening to sermons, clapping. It is meeting needs in God's house. It is actively contributing to the progress of God's Kingdom. It is proffering solution to people's problem." he advised.

Femi Emmanuel who is the presiding pastor of Livingspring Chapel International, said we can solve people's problem by "assisting a needy person the best way you can. Put an indigent student back to school, pay somebody's medical bill. Make people happy anywhere you are. This can be done by passing complementary words, giving a smile by making kind remarks and by generosity."
