Our very own Elizabeth Emoruwa is the first runner up of the Season 9 of MTN Project Fame. Elizabeth who lost the ultimate position to 25-year-old Okiemute Ighorodje, performed Tiwa Savage‘s “Standing Ovation" at the closing gala of the finale.

Along with the title of the first runner up, Elizabeth also went home with 3 Million Naira prize and a saloon car.

For week, Celestians had been urging follow members to massively cast their votes for the talented singer. At the Annual Youth Conference of the Church, #CCCAYC2016, held in August it was echoed that Elizabeth should be massively supported.

This result shows that Celestians can speak with one voice and achieve greatness together.
