The Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa led leadership of the Church, who are in control of the Cathedral, seems to have sensed the constant disquietude among members regarding the current state of the Cathedral.
Therefore, Reverend Mobiyina Oshoffa has among other things, mandated the 81 member 70th year anniversary to ensuring the early completion of the Cathedral.
He made this known during the inauguration of the 81 member Anniversary Committee at the National Headquarters, in Makoko, Lagos
"While the event should showcase our past achievement, we need to also emphasize our future plans in the area of winning souls for Christ and restoring our dear Church to her leadership place in the Christendom, as well as ensuring early completion of the Cathedral building project at Imeko, which was dear to the heart of the founder of our Church, Saint Rev. S.B.J Oshoffa, of blessed memory." he said.
He requested the committee to start work in earnest.
"I will request you to please commence work on the assignment in earnest and submit to me reports on the progress of the assignment at the end of every month. I will love to have the first interim report by the end of February, 2017." Reverend Mobiyina stated.
