The way we treat and react to sinners among christian gathering is very important, as it encourages them to recover from their sinful ways, Brother Enigbokan Omosehin says.

Enigbokan who is Celestial Church Blog's in house sermoner for Friday Service, made this known in his Friday sermon for 13th January, 2016, which has its text as Mark 2:13-17.

He said the Pharisees questioned why Jesus Christ eat with tax collectors and sinners, because he wasn't met to do so.

"We have to be careful in treating the case of sinners. In a precise term, the Bible do not support the act of commiting sin and the same Bible do not give anyone the licence to condemn or rebuke sinners.

"This is where most christians miss it. They see sinners as unfortunate and detestable individuals that should not be mingled with."

Omosehin advised Christians to emulate how Christ treats sinners.

"According to the scriptural reading and if we (Christians) care to emulate Jesus Christ, we should not cast out sinners (the Sick) rather we should embrace and heal them as a bonafide witness and ambassador of Christ Jesus - The great physician.

"This can be achieved thorough the understanding and application of the word of God" he said.
