Bro David Adeniran
The lack of progress among youth of Celestial Church of Christ has been attributed to refusing to accept responsibilities and facing challenges that come their way.

This declaration was made by the Evangelism Coordinator of Area H Youth Organisation, Brother David Adeniran while he was exhalting members of the organisation during the programme of the organisation, during the early hours of Saturday, 21st January, 2016.

Adeniran likened the actions of most Celestians to the attitudes put up by the descendants of Joseph in Joshua 17: 14-18, where they were afraid to take up the challenges of facing the Canaanites because they had iron chariots.

"The Children of Joseph wanted an easy way out to get their share of the portion of land shared to them by Moses and Joshua. They were not ready to fight the Canaanites." he said

He advised that youth of the Church must subdue their possession by facing challenges that come their way.

"Most of us are not moving forward because we are running away from responsibilities.
God's power is able to provide everything for man. Infact, he has provided everything for man." Adeniran said.

In his welcome address at the event, the Shepherd of Aiyetoro Parish, Ikotun, Superior Evangelist Afolayan, said that the future of Celestial Church is in the hand of the youth.

"Without the youth, there won't be growth in Celestial Church. Therefore, the youth should be diligent either in their academics or the trade they are in."

He prayed that the glory of the Church will manifest in the life of the youth.
