The need for members of Celestial Church of Christ, especially the youth, to become good ambassador of the fold has been emphasized at the Area H Youth Organisation, Lagos State, programme held on Friday 20th January, 2017.

Femi Oyenekan, who gave the lecture of the Night, titled The Divinity of Christ, condemned the lackadaisical attitudes of the youth in the Church in handling matters relating to the fold and Christianity.

"Celestial youth are not concerned about how things are going. Look at the current situation of things in the Church today."

He attributed this to influence of the media.

"The content of what our youth are watching, reading and listening cannot sustain them. I am afraid for the coming generation, what are we going to leave for them? How would God handle over his Church to youth that doesn't know Christ?" he asked.

Oyenekan advised that youth of the Church must accept Christ as their Lord and personal saviour, saying if they do, they would have a new life, as sons and daughters of God.

The member of Christ Ambassador Parish, Ijesha, Lagos also urged leaders of the Church on the need to be concerned about members of the Church.

"People (leaders) are not concerned about the life of the Church members, but about managing the Church." he said.
