Grace and peace to you from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The scriptural reading for the week is Psalm 93:1-5. The topic is "His Majesty".

Majesty is an English word derived ultimately from the Latin maiestas, meaning greatness, and used as a style by many....... It also means supreme authority or power. Am conscious of the fact that the world majesty is often used for earthly rulers, but in today's sermon, my focus is to lay emphasis on His Majesty by highlighting some of His attributes as clearly stated in the scriptural reading.

In the Biblical context, the appelation "Majesty" should be restricted to the Lord - Jehovah and His son Jesus Christ. It's an abuse of title when an earthly leader is addressed as "Majesty" regardless of the position.

The first outstanding feature of His Majesty is that He reigns for ever. Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja 11, is the 51st Ooni of Ife. Donald Trump is the 45th Executive President of the United States America- meaning earthly leaders kicks the buckets and are being replaced, but His majesty reigns for ever. Ps. 93:1-2, 145:5,12, 93:5.
Verses three and four of the text confirmed how the creatures of God glorify Him. The seas, the waters, ants, birds, other creatures and man continually glorify His majesty. Ps. 93:3-4. Presidents and kings of the world also glorify His majesty. Some that are wise among them roll on the floor for His majesty.

Finally, brethren, the throne of His majesty is Holy. Most traditional and political leaders stains their throne with reckless rituals. They kill people as part of rituals to assume office. But the throne of His majesty is holy and pure. Ex. 15:11, 28:36; Zec. 14:20; Ps 47:8, 48:1, 89:35; Ro. 1:4, 6: 19.

To God be the glory and Majesty.

Shalom.
