In this post we take a look at those things one of the factions in the Church, the Ketu faction does, that other factions had always fail to do, and need to do if they want to remain relevant.

Sincerely, those things listed here had made other factions inferior to the Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa led factions.

We cannot continue to shy away from the fact that Ketu is the biggest of all the more than 14 factions in the Church, but this doesn't give credence to the fact that Ketu too is perfect.

Although, Celestians loyal to other factions would always hitch to the sentiments that Ketu is the biggest faction because it controls the National Headquarters, the Archdeaconry, in Makoko, the International Headquarters in Ketu and the Worldwide Headquarters in Imeko, Ogun state.

This is not totally true. Ketu is the biggest because of these 5 reasons of some actions and inactions, which include some of the following.

1. Always The First To Take Up Initiatives

A perfect example of this is the inauguration of the 70 years anniversary committeemore than 7 months to the anniversary date.

The leaders of other factions haven't thought it good in their mind to set up an anniversary committee.

There are many other initiatives that those in Ketu had done which other factions seems not to have a clue about.

It appears that the only thing Ketu strategically seems not to take any initiative about is the unification of the Church.

2. Media friendly

Although, the leader of Ketu, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa has never granted any known interview with any media organisation, unlike his counterparts in other factions, such as Reverend Shonekan and Rev Beni Omege, yet Ketu do occasionally release press statements which are mostly well circulated in the media, which other factions don't engage in.

3. Reprimanding Clergies

Lest we forget a shepherd, Prophet Kehinde who chained his son and denied him food for days because he allegedly stole.

Ketu was quick to condemn the act of the Shepherd and promised to punish him irrespective of not minding which faction the Shepherd belongs to.

But other factions kept mute. It appears as if the news fell to deaf ears on their side. One could interpret it as they weren't concerned.

However, Ketu still has a lot of unresolved issues regarding Clergies it need to address.

4. More Coordinated and Self Centred

The attitude and leadership style of Ketu is centred on claiming everything that is successful within the Church irrespective of the faction those who birthed the ideas are.

Examples are the continuous pressure on the National Coordinator of the Youth in the Church, Professor S.O Odeyemi to relinquish the non partisan status of the youth organisation in his care. In clear terms, you and your group should join us, they tell the octogenarian.

Consequently, this is a clear message to the leaders of other factions. They need to show their marks by being involved in everything about our Church, not about those matter which affect their factions only.
