Haleluyah, Calvary greetings to you all in the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. I supplicate the Lord for the grace to continually abide in Him.

I appreciate every individual that read/study my sermon on this platform weekly. The text for the week is Romans 15:14-23. The topic is "Leading the Gentiles to obey God".

From the Jewish perspective that is very relevant to the sermon, Gentiles are seen as pagans who do not know the true God. During Jesus' time, many Jews took such pride in their cultural and religious heritage that they considered Gentiles "unclean", calling them "dogs". Lead(ing) refers to a route or means of access to a particular place or in a particular direction. Gentiles: Ezra 6:21; Ro. 1:16; 2:9; 15:16.

Brethren in the Lord, the core message in the sermon for the week is that the kingdom of God and Christianity is in need of great and committed ministers of God that will geniunelly lead the gentiles (unbelievers) to God. Apostle Paul in his letter to the Romans emphasized this fact and also made comment about his effort at ministering to the gentiles.

The following points are outstanding in the message of apostle Paul to the Romans according to the scriptural reading.

1. According to the efforts of the ministers of God, brethren should have good knowledge of the word of God to admonish and instruct one another. If otherwise, then something is wrong with the system. Rom. 15:14.

2. By default, christians are ministers of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles with the prietly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God. Romans 15:16.

3. The power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Holy Spirit are granted to God's ministers for effective mission as they lead the gentiles to God. Rom. 15:19.

4. According to Apostle Paul, it is more glorious to preach the gospel where Christ is not known than building on someone else's foundation. Rom.15:20-22.

The devil is making much effort at frustrating the efforts of God's ministers leading the Gentiles to God for salvation. Infact, 'Christians' that are not rooted in the word of God are been attacked with the intent of converting them back to the world.

Brethren, the question is are you a minister of God (Christian) or a gentile? Are you a blessing or burden to the kingdom of God? Think and pray about it. After many years in the church, we should be a great vessel and minister of God leading gentiles to Him.

Shalom.
