Rev Omoge franked by members of the Church during the foundation laying ceremony |
In celebrating his one year anniversary as a factional leader of the Church, he layed the foundation stone of a new cathedral that will occupy 75,000 members.
However, this feat seems not to bother some faithfuls of the Church. This was evident in a discussion which took place in a Facebook group.
The discussion was whether a new auditorium should be built in Celestial Golden City, situated along the Lagos Ibadan Highway, which was recently purchased by the Reverend Omoge led group, while another one is currently undergoing construction at Imeko.
An Evangelist in the Church, Olamiku Abiku advised against such, saying, "Imeko Cathedral has been since 1983 unattended, and we are trying to lay another foundation."
Abiku's opinion was supported by a female member of the Church, Remileku Olajide, who said that Reverend Omoge's attempt to build another auditorium is like putting the cart before the horse.
Olajide advised that laying of the auditorium is not the right thing for Reverend Omoge to do. She requested that the unfinished auditorium in Imeko should be completed.
Another female member, Akinduro Ebunoluwa sees the building of a new auditorium as a waste of resources.
However, Olatunji Olufemi while adding his voice to the debate said he careless where another auditorium is built. He said he is only concerned about the love Reverend Omoge has for God's work. "I can see a pastor who is so much concern about Evangelism (Omoge)" Olufemi mentioned.

I support his efforts, only one year on the throne and he is building an auditorium for Celestians. GOOD JOB. For over 34 years, you people cannot complete the Imeko Auditorium and you are making mouth. How many Parishes are under Baba Maforikan, how many Parishes are under the Trustee. How much are the Trustee realizing from Anointing and IPIN every months and years. Nothing positive that we can point to .Judge your selves,Rev Omoge looks positive and progressive. So let's support him because no how, no how the place will be useful in future when CELESTIAL WILL BE ONE FOLD ONE SHEPHERD. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteLife is like a video game, if you come across enemies or restrictions then you are on the right path.
DeleteStop tarnishing Baba Omoge image pls, stop it even if u paid to do so. Have u forgotten that the trustees are in charge of Imeko, Baba Omoge faction dont have access to Imeko to Imeko, but you want him to complete the project which he do not have access to. You should blame ur leaders incharge of Imeko for corruption and not blame Baba Omoge. I 100% support his move.
ReplyDelete@ Mr Odunfa Samuel and Kekereekun Ademola, i want to believe as a celestial member you are also a bible scholar, you know that the house that is divided against itself will not hold..We can get anyway if we are still working in a different direction..I want to believe if BABA OMOGE is interested in such building we can do that as member of the at Imeko city which is the main concern of all Celestial member..I support his move and currage to build such auditorium in just a year he claims to be the pastor, the we know that the trustees were not doing anything phisically that we can see and all the retrun were not properlly made do of.But the fact that we are hearing different people calling themselves pastor is totally wrong.. Let us as youth phantom how to bring this people together, that should be our plans not blaming them..The youth should have a voice in celestial today and this we can achieve if there is determination..I still believe in one church, one fold, and one shepherd..The lineage of this church will always be traced to the trustees so this means we know where we are coming from, where we are, and that where we are shouldn't be where we are to be, so that alone can guild us to know where we are going..Let everyone swallow their pride and the believe that PAPA OSHOFFA has chosen them to be the pastor, let everyone go back to the root.
ReplyDeleteIn my own opinion, if Baba Omoge decides to contribute to thebuilding of Imeko City, my question is will those in charge agree? i just pray we will get thereone day. Long live CCC
