Alleluia,

Wrong way
The concept of the sanctification water at the entrance of the church is a very vital concept in the church, which we have taken with levity, even to a point that it is being viewed as if it really makes no difference however it is being done.

This is not true to the faith of C.C.C, in that originally, the founder taught that the three middle fingers will be dipped into the water container at the entrance and used to make a sign of the cross; (this cross is made such that the lower part of the cross is placed at the navel) in contrast to what is being practiced in the church today by a way of sprinkling.

Right way
The concept of the fingers as taught by the founder of the church is that of representation, similar to the concept of the lighting of the candles on the altar which explains the concept of ‘the grace’ as should be given by the shepherds.

It was explained thus; the first finger (the thumb) represents the Father, the second the Son, the third the Holy Spirit, the fourth the Angels, the fifth Man. This is the wonder of the divine nature in God and this gives the reason why the first three fingers are to be up and the last two bowed while the grace is being given by the shepherd during offerings and at the end of the service. What a divine concept.

This is the true concept of the sanctification water at the entrances of the church which has been thrown aside for an anyhow-it-goes syndrome, and puts worship in a self induced mode wherein there is no spiritual invocation that provokes the presence of the Lord as explained above.

The below picture shows how the sign of the cross should be made on our body.

TRUTH ABOUT THE CROSS:

The head is SHORTER

The Tail is LONGER

Lets look at the pictures critically :

1. Has the cross is UPSIDE DOWN as the tail part of the CROSS is LONGER

2. Has the cross in the right position as the tail part of the CROSS is LONGER

Which of the two pictures is correct?

How do you make your sign of the cross?
