The issue of who is the right leader of the Church has always been a matter of discussion after the demise of the founder of the Church, Reverend SBJ Oshoffa.

In an attempt to put things right in respect to the leadership tussle in the Church, Reverend Bennet Adeogun, who is the leader of the Church in Benin Republic, was of the opinion that members, must ascertain if God really chose all the claimants of the pastoral seat. He made this known while addressing youth of the Church in Benin Republic.

Adeogun was quoted by Evangelist Adjaho who was at the event, as saying that youth of the Church should look at the various Pastors in the Church and compare their works to the word of God before determining who they should follow and who they should not.

He went further to declare that the Church would be united under one Pastor, although he doesn't know when it will happen.

"Unity will be done, whether we like it or not. The destiny of the Church is to be one and indivisible and that it will be.

"In the 70 years of the Church, good things will happen. I won't say any more. But these events will be manifested and everyone will see with his or her eyes." Adeogun said.
