The need for the Church to embrace change in certain areas has been emphasized as one of the criteria needed for the Church to grow.

This opinion was made known by Evangelist Rotimi Malik at the National Prayer Retreat hosted by the youth body of the church in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the church at the National Headquarters of the church in Makoko on Friday Night.

Malik who delivered the lecture at the event, acknowledged that those who are maintaining that things should not be changed in the church are also changing in their personal lives, but want the church to remain as it is.

The church consultant warned that the needed growth and change the church require, must not be allowed to be nailed to the ground due to unnecessary beliefs, as it is glaring that the church need to adoption change in certain areas.



He described one of the areas where the church need to embrace change is how the church treat her youth. The advised that the church must not close its eyes against the youth, as doing so, will amount to the church losing her power.
