It is not news or new to us what celestial shepherds and church workers go through to lead and handle the Spiritual affairs of a church. While most of us are in our cushion beds in our houses in the night, eating the third, fourth or fifth meal for the day, most shepherd and church workers kids are either eating the first, second meal or even going to bed hungry at night.

While it didn't become much of an issue when we where kids to understand this kind of burden or life, many of us grew up noticing these realities. Most will not even pray to be children of shepherd or church workers talkless of being wives. It's even so bad this days that when prayers are said, parents don't ever pray for their kids to " sise oluwa " be a worker in God vineyard because of these harsh realities. Some even conclude that only lazy people sit down without doing anything calling themselves church workers or shepherds.

Though going to bed hungry, not eating full square meal or not feeding well may not be synonymous to shepherds and church workers kids alone but what is synonymous to shepherds and church workers kids is the comfort of home which many of them mostly do not have. Changing schools, changing environment and changing life style is a burden that most children of shepherds and church workers go through [especially transfer shepherds].

Aside from this social problems and issues the Spiritual side is also equally challenging, since the calls of shepherds and church worker is typically and totally spiritual. The social sides are meant to be handled by the members through tithes and all others acts of kindness and gestures but the Spiritual side is totally in the hands of the shepherds, church workers families.

As humans our life is mostly shaped by our physical and environmental experiences but as christains our life's is shaped by the truth of God, with further grace as celestials the truth of God for us is deeper and wider with commandments, ordinances and heavenly doctrines.

Therefore the advantages the children of church workers and shepherds have are numerous since they are mostly in the house of God doing one service, ministering at the altar and available without excuse to partake in all worships. They are exposed to the rudiments of the church especially for children who their parents are called when they are at a tender age or even unborn, they have a better advantage since they are exposed at a the age of innocence.

They have therefore been witnesses to many miracles, healing, testimonies and manifestations of the power of salvation, all these happening while many of us are in bed sleeping or even at amusement parks with friends and family. Although there are also families who spend or spent most of their time in the church but it is not like the unique situations a shepherd or church workers children who grew up seeing various natural and supernatural situations daily.

They are first hand witnesses to the power of the life to come which should form the basics or foundations of their beliefs, perspectives, knowledge and judgment which automatically transcends and should reflect in their life style. Invariably it means that what they see would either open or becloud their judgments, beliefs, and perception which will be seen by all.

After the passing to glory of Reverend SBJ Oschoffa the families of shepherds and church in celestial church of christ have not had it so good, infact the family of the founder suffered the same faith. Many shepherds and church workers who died in the service of the vineyard leaving their families behind become utterly abandoned and left to the doldrums and mercy of the harsh realities of life. All these issues happening around us are realities that conflict with the beauty and magnificence of the power and the glory of the call of God.

The task therefore for children of shepherds and church workers is to keep their RIGHTEOUNESS intact even in the midst of all the cloud of discouragement. If they believe or have the perspective that only their father or mother is called then they set a stumbling block on their on way. If they believe that the righteouness or work of their father would hold sway for them then they place a big rock around their own neck.

One of the reasons why christ came and gave us the Holy Spirit is to help shape our life from being controlled by the impulse of the world to being controlled by the impulse of the Holy Spirit.
The children of Eli not only became a stumbling block for themselves but for their generations yet unborn.

Today the deadliest cultists are children of shepherds and church workers, internet fraudsters, drug lords, smokers, drinkers, breakers of all commandments, tenets and ordinances of the celestial heavenly which their parents are ministers of. Some don't even attend worship any more, and when the bell is gingled even when they are in the church premises they would not come out for worship talkless of bowing their head.

These kind of actions and inactions have even made some faithfuls either becoming cold in worship or outrightly leaving the celestial for another church. Infact most have become a bad example so much so that people will say "that is a child of a shepherd or celestial church of christ elder committing such a despicable act".
Every child[Ren] of church workers and shepherds should know that they also have two main duties in the presence of God, to keep their righteouness and also not allow the world to blaspheme the name of the Lord because of their action.

Although they are not automatically called because of their father or mothers calling like levitical priesthood but they carry a mark and burden of priesthood since they are part of the experiences which should also shaped their lives. Even though the negatives seems to surpass the positive the duty therefore falls on shepherds and church workers to instill the fear and knowledge of God with fervent prayers in the lifes of their children.

The mothers must know that the work she has basically are the children and her disposition to the work or call of her husband and her respect for him will impact on the children. The things many mothers say when in distress during the days of want may be an open wound that may never or be difficult to heal.

Shepherds and church workers should teach and nourish their children as they nourish the church because their children are part of the church as their first duty. If the family which is the centre of the church collapses then the centre cannot hold things will fall apart.

ALLEUIA!!!
