Most Celestians are unaware that few hours before the death of the founding Pastor of the church, Reverend Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa, God performed a miracle which was undocumented in the church history book through him.

In a publication by Communaute Celeste, it was recorded that on the day Oshoffa died, 10th September, 1985, the female nurse who took care of him in the hospital he was admitted after the accident he was involved in, approached him that she had a particular health challenge.

Seated on the couch in his private ward at the hospital, Oshoffa listened attentively to the nurse who informed him that she has been suffering from a serious genital disease and had travelled to Europe for medication, yet she wasn't cured.



Oshoffa told her to knee and asked that she should touch the end of his cassock. Then he proceeded to ask her to pray for whatever she want. After praying, Oshoffa asked her to chant 7 Halleluyah. Immediately, the pain which resulted from the disease and the disease didn't trouble her again.

After this miracle, Oshoffa proceeded to join Christ.
