Sermons during church services are very important and they should be one of the basis for faithfuls to desire to go for church service. Many faithfuls, especially the young ones are not pleased with the quality of sermons in the fold, as compared to those their peers in other denominations listen to.

Most often there have always been complaints regarding this, but the leadership of the church, irrespective of the factions, are not ready to work on urgent solution to this problem.

The repercussion of the quality of sermon in the church was depicted in a status of an unknown young member of the church, who after acknowledging that the Celestial Church of Christ is surely God sent, but he would rather chat with friends while sermon is ongoing.

A part of the status reads, "two things would only make me chat on Sunday, 1. The sermoners 2. Am not in church."





As much as the content of the status regarding chatting during sermons isn't right, we cannot fault the truth coming from it. The sooner the church work on how to deliver quality sermons to faithfuls, the better for the future of the church.
