The solemnisation of holy matrimony is an event every Christian denomination want to observe for their unmarried member of their congregation.



However, it has been acknowledged that weddings in Celestial Church are not expensive, as unmarried members are not expected to pay levies to the church before they are solemnized with their partners.

This acknowledgement was made known by Evangelist Nunayon-Oke Jesuyon while making his opinion known on marriage in Celestial Church.

"Once it is the partner chosen by holy spirit for you, come forward and we shall join you. No shepherd or minister will request a levy from you." Nunayon acknowledged.


He also opined that excesses of intending couples and families are the what make wedding ceremonies expensive.

"God gave us everything simple and spiritual......excesses like going extra miles to get expensive wedding gowns/suits, decoration, and unwarranted spending are really not required." he stressed.
