Blaming prophets and prophetesses for all the negative events happening in the church is alarming, discouraging and unfair to them, a Senior Female Prophetess in the Church, Tayo Joseph has declared.
In an article on the need for members to stop calling prophets the black sheep of the church, Joseph condemned the way aggression are transferred on her and her colleagues as other persons are more culpable than the prophets.
"Why are there so much transferred aggression on prophets in Celestial Church. I have been in the system for sometimes now and can catalogue the atrocities of non prophets in this church." she complained.
She added that prophets are treated unfairly, as too much expectations are desired from them with little or no regards for their welfare, saying "it is very unfair the way prophets are treated in this church. They have become meal tickets to many, as soon as they give messages, their so called critics will take the message paper and begin to dupe unsuspecting members, while the prophet go home hungry. I believe it is proper for prophets to be given their deserved respect in this church.
