It is common to get to hear statements like "papa so pe" (Papa said that), "Bada so pe" (Bada said that) etc among members, but how true are these statements.

Adekanmbi Opeyemi believes that the lack of well detailed records, has made a good number of Celestians to doubt the authenticity of such statements because there exist no record of such statements except the verbal saying of those who claimed they were present when the statements were made.

Adekanmbi disclosed this while reacting to Evangelist Charles Otukoya's statement in his book about Oshoffa taking 18 elders to inspect the Imeko Cathedral. There are "so many information, so many thing known about the church but those that had the information didn't pen (them) down for reference purposes. (This) is why in some (cases) there are issues of papa said, bada said and holy spirit said. Things would have been much more easier if they were recorded. We can make reference to (them) instead of theories.

"So I use this medium to implore everyone who is with information to record for coming generations so they (coming generations) do not live on assumptions" Adekanmbi implored.
