The international headquarters of the Church located in Ketu, Lagos, Nigeria is the faction of the church with largest number of members and those who are loyal to her feel that since Ketu has almost all of the church's major landmarks in her possession, all other factions of the church must accept her as the head.






However those from other factions see this as mere grandstanding and would always wave aside this idea, arguing that God do not chose leaders based on large numbers of followers and the ownership of the church's landmarks.

One of the sons of the founder of the church, Superior Evangelist Tosho Oshoffa who is passionate about a unified Celestial Church have the impression that some members of other factions are willing to cross over to Ketu, but are bothered about the titles and positions they hold.
Tosho Oshoffa made this known in an interview published by Celestial News Online. He was quoted in the interview as saying:






"Many people don't have anything against the pastor (Reverend Mobiyina Oshoffa) per se or the authority at Ketu but people are having issues because of the title they are wearing or the position they have placed themselves, they are of the opinion that returning to source which is Ketu, the stool of late pastor founder SBJ Oshoffa, will set them back and lower their position."
