As Home Box Office, HBO wined up the most watched and discussed television series, Game of Thrones with its closing season 8, a thought came to mind and we take a look at the attitude of one of the series leading character, Cersei Lannister in the first three episodes of season 8 to that of the biggest faction of the Church, ‘Ketu’.

As the Night King and his armies of the dead approaches North, the humans agree to fight together against him only for Cersei Lannister to refuse sending her armies North to fight alongside with Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and others because she currently sits on the iron throne and controls the largest parts of the seven kingdoms.

This approach is similar to what Ketu seems to have adopted over the years. Rather than Ketu to physically extend its hand of reconciliation to other factions, so as to ensure a united church, we do get to hear from most higher echelons and faithfuls loyal to Ketu that since its in charge of Imeko, Makoko and have the largest followers it does not need to reconcile with other factions which they term as smaller factions.

Those loyal to Ketu may dismiss this with the wave of the hand, but the beats of their conscience tells them that it is the truth. A united celestial church lies more in the hands of Ketu.
