Evang. Raphael Oloyede

Evangelist Raphael Oloyede have encouraged leaders especially Christian husbands on the need to stop listening to advice that will make them adopt behaviours that may cause their children and wives to see them as terrors at homes.

Oloyede made this known while delivering a sermon on Sunday 26th May at Ile Ileri (Ijegun 2). He declared that no matter how unfortunate anyone may be, he or she will always have people to lead, because everyone will find himself/herself in a leadership position.

The former zonal coordinator under Area H youth Organization, Lagos State, encouraged leaders on the need to be just, never be sentimental and avoid nepotism when dealing with their subjects. He also advised them to have the fear of God by not been oppressive.

During the sermon, Oloyede emphasized that David in his last days implored leaders in the first lesson of the service 2 Samuel 23:1-7, to see themselves as caretakers. Thus he urged husbands and fathers to not to see themselves as lords over their wives and children. He encouraged them to be more friendly and accommodating and shun act that will make their immediate family to be excessively afraid of them.
