In a bid to obey government regulations on the reopening of worship centres, the Central Cathedral Parish of the Church in Federal Capital Abuja, Nigeria has released guidelines on measures it has put in place to ensure that parishioners resume worship at Area 10, Garki where the cathedral is located.






In a notice released on its Facebook page, the parish listed 12 guidelines that are meant to ensure that necessary government regulations are adhered to

Amongst such regulations includes the introduction of 2 morning services on Sunday. The first service is to take place from 10am to 11:15am, while the second service will be from 12 noon till 1:15pm. Also, parishioners are to sign attendance sheet before entering the church premises.


Children below the age of 10, adults above the age of 55, nursing and pregnant mothers are to observe service from home.

Also, no processional hymn (Jerimoyamah), will take place on any service day. Weekly services on Wednesday and Friday will be held for only 45 minutes.
