The journey to review the Church’s Constitution popularly known as the blue book has began on Saturday in Port Novo, Benin Republic. The exercise which was done publicly as against the secret review made by the most popular Anglophone faction of the Church.

The aim of the review as revealed by Communauté Céleste is to correct the ambiguity in the constitution caused by the demise of Reverend Samuel Bileou Joseph Oshoffa, in order to keep the church peaceful and better.






The review which was ordered by the Reverend Bennett Ajose Adeogun, took place in form of a public conference where dialogue and discussion on what areas of the constitution are to be reviewed. The review took place with the participation of the elders and youth.

The most ambiguous part of the Church’s Constitution is the section which states that Reverend SBJ Oshoffa will name the pastor that will reign after him, but he was not able to do so before his death.
