Group of church clergies in a meeting

The gist of the major events which happened around Celestial Sphere last week will begin with a thought of concern for our clergies. In this period where most parishes are not opened for services thus offerings are not collected, therefore majority of our clergies have not been receiving stipends as there are no offerings, yet they have mouths to feed.

Sincerely, we need to truthfully to ourselves and ask, how are our clergies surviving? If we do not take care of them, we are making them to become easy tools in the hands of various vices. This is a call to anyone reading this to send a word or gift of encouragement to any clergy who you know may be finding it difficult at this moment, not the big rich ones.

Reverend Doctor A.A Demehin is the latest addition to the number of claimants to the pastoral seat of the Church. Everyone has a right to declare that he is called by God to lead the Church, and if truly they are the rightful claimants, we learnt that SBJ Oshoffa said the following listed here should manifest through them.

The much await response of Ketu regarding the allegations against Prophet Dele Ogundipe has been gotten after pressure from members of the Church. In addressing the allegations, Ketu maintained that the Church’s mandate in cleansing the world is not negotiable and anyone who does otherwise will be sanctioned. This is highly commendable.

But careful look at the statement released by Ketu shows that the use of words is watery and not as fierce as previous statements condemning other clergies that are not in the good books of the church. An example can be seen when a strong worded statement was released regarding Jacob Farinmade. Ketu specifically disowned Farinmade without hearing his own side of what transpired, but in Ogundipe’s case a investigative panel was set up.

Please remember to get across to clergies who are in need.
