Jacob Farinmade embattled leader of Gospec Mission, a ministry which the largest faction of the church, Ketu has denounced, was recently arrested by the police. The police claimed that Farinmade’s arrest was necessitated as a result of the death of a young female student who was brought to his church for deliverance.







When the news of his arrest broke, Ketu released a disclaimer disassociating the leader of Gospec Mission from Celestial Church. “We wish to state categorically here that the Gospec Mission is not in any way affiliated to the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, neither is Jacob Farinmade a member nor a prophet of the Celestial Church,” a part of the disclaimer states.


However in an article apparently in response to Ketu’s disowning him, Farinmade said he is not bothered of his ordeal because they are frivolous and scandalous.

He wrote that Christ who owns Celestial Church never disown anyone, but humans will always do because of frivolous, scandalous, envious and wicked reasons.
