The invite of Fuji Musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1 to the harvest of Genesis Global, a parish of Celestial Church became a controversial issue as the invite didn’t go well with some members of the Church.


But the Shepherd of the Parish, Prophet Dele Israel Ogundipe says the invite isn’t controversial, as he received various commendations than condemnations for inviting the musician, which resulted in him been recognised with the ambassador of peace award.


He made this known in an interview with The Punch, while responding to the question, on the criticism that followed after the visit of the Fuji musician. In his response, he said; “The visit of KWAM 1 to my church prompted my getting the United Nations Ambassador for Peace Award. Contrary to what you think, the positive responses I got superseded the negative ones. It was not to spite the authority of my church. It was a unification move for religious tolerance. God is one. Almighty God is love. Regardless of our differences and beliefs, love should be the ultimate goal.
