Popular shepherd of Genesis Global, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe has reported been sentenced to 2 years of imprisonments for fraud.


Ogundipe was charged before Justice Olabisi Akinlade for defrauding a London-based woman. Daily Independent reports that Justice Akinlade founded Ogundipe guilty in a four hours judgement based on N11 million fraud committed against the plaintiff.


After delivering the judgement, Ogundipe broke down in court and pleaded for mercy, saying, “My lord, I will pay the money right now in court if given the opportunity, I will just call few people and the money will be ready, he said”.


But he was replied by the Judge that he should have done so before the matter got to court.
