In a show of untactfulness and anxiety, the office of the factional spiritual leader of the Church, Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa released two separate press statements clarifying its decision on why the board of trustees was dissolved.

The first press statement was released early afternoon on May 5th, while the second was released late around past 9 pm on the same date. The contents of the press statements defer in the area of why the dissolution of the board was necessary. 

In an afterthought of the consequence behind the first press statement which stated that plans are on the way to reconstitute another board of trustees and also not stating the reasons for the dissolution, which could cause backlash from members and the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, and a possible technical error when tendered in the law court, a second press statement correcting the mistake was quickly released.
