Pius, Emmanuel and Banjo

The crisis between the members of the Board of Trustee of Ketu faction deepens as the Chairman of the Board, Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa has sacked all of the members of the board.


The board members sacked are Most Superior Evangelist S. O. Banjo, Superior Evangelist Pius Olarewaju, Superior Evangelist Bola Akinterinwa, and Superior Evangelist Okaisabor as revealed in a circular released by Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Stephen Adeniyi of the administrative unit at Reverend Emmanuel Office.


This pronouncement is coming after the sacked members of the board wrote a petition to Reverend Emmanuel through a law firm, Wale Taiwo & Co, demand several things.


In the circular released, Ketu claimed that Reverend Emmanuel took the decision after the Pastor-in-Council unanimously agreed to the dissolution of the board and reconstitution of a new board.


A last paragraph of the circular reads; "It is on this note the Pastor-in-Council unanimously resolved and mandated the Pastor to dissolve and reconstitute the Board of Trustees of the Church for insubordination and, rebellious act, a resolution approved by His Eminence and effected on the 3rd of May 2021. The newly reconstituted Board of Trustees will be shared soon."
