The confidence in which some members display their candidacy in making it to heaven and reign with God as a result of their being members of Celestial Church as been described as a vain thought by Augustine Otah.

In an article, Otah defined Celestial as it relates to heaven, mentioning that it is only those who do God's will that make it to heaven, not those who attended Celestial Church.

"That means those who doeth the will of God on earth, because you belong to a denomination called Celestial Church on earth has never make you a Celestial not until you doeth the will of God in Heaven on earth," he wrote in the article.

He advised members of Church with vices like cultism, sexual immorality, witchcraft to desist from such, by repenting before it is too late.

"You cannot say you are a Celestial where as you are a liar, a Cultist, a fornicator, adulterous, a killer, a hater, a witchcraft and all that which is written in Galatians  5 vs 19 to 21, that means you are a Terrestrial do not deceive yourself  repent now before is too late" he mentioned.
