You may be wondering why the Church is loosing members. The reasons are given by a member, Tola Adele in an article titled, why we are losing members in Church. In the article he gave 12 reasons and they are:
We are loosing our members in the church because they cannot see the reality and validity of the word.
We are losing youths in the church because we refuse to satisfy their spiritual hunger and thirst for the word of God. We did not build their spiritual life with the bread of life.
Our members are not seeing remarkable impacts and imprints of God in their lives anymore to convince them personally that God dwells in the church.

We are loosing our ladies to ungodly people, to men whom dont know christ because we refuse to give them spiritual values and standards to live in
We are loosing members because we are loosing the presence of the holy spirit gradually.
We have nothing to offer lives or souls than spiritual works. We have become a dumping centre for spiritual problems.
Our ladies are running away because of the despicable acts of our shepherds and prophets whose only motive is "lie on the bed".
People are vowing not come to our church again because of irritating encounters and experiences in the hands of our shepherds and prophets.

We are loosing the younger generation because we have failed to preach christ but put more emphasis on doctrines and tenets.
We are loosing members because of our shameless acts of immorality and carnality.
