Evangelist Oloyede Raphael
Halleluyah,

It is another opportunity for you to have an encounter with God through this platform, as The Holy Bible in Matthew 5:6 says "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, because they shall be filled" I pray that the good Lord shall fill all your hunger and thirst in Jesus name. You are welcome.
Topic: Imitate Their Faith
Bible Lesson: 2 Corinthians 8:1-15
Memory Verse: 2 Corinthians 8:14
But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their want, that their abundance also may be a supply for your want: that there may be equality
In today's lesson, Apostle Paul used the situation in the Church of Macedonia as a case study to admonish the Church in Corinth, on the importance of adopting the idea of helping Brethren in time of need. (Verse 1-2 of the Bible Lesson)

My dear reader, sharing and giving are part of the legacies of the apostles. They practiced this and it yielded good result. Similarly, Celestial Church of Christ in her early years of existence, practiced sharing among her brethren and it was a success. (Acts 3:44-45, Acts 4:34-35)

Therefore, I am charging you my dear, to see it as a mandate to pull someone up just as you are climbing up the ladder in life.

Do you know that many people who had fallen in life (finance wise), could not climb up again because when they were at the top, they do not care to give anyone a lifting hand.

No matter what is takes, try to help someone. (Verse 9 of the Bible Lesson)

Jesus sacrificed his riches and became poor because of you and I without sentiments.

On a final note, many people complain of having little as their excuse for not helping others. Helping people is not all about money.

Your advice, network of influential people (connection) amongst others, could help alleviate someone's problem. What matters most is the desire to help those who need help. (2 Corinthians 8:15)

Until next week, when we shall come to learn from him again, I advise that you should think more about the less privilege. Stay Blessed my dear.
