The events which was declared opened by the General Youth Coordinator, Senior Evangelist Odeyemi some minutes past 10pm, was followed by speeches from Evangelist Olu' Bankole, the National Youth Coordinator (Nigeria), Evangelist J.A Adesanya, the Chairman of this year's Organizing Committee and Evangelist Adebayo Benson who read the #CCCAYC2016 Conference Rules.
The opening ceremony was accompanied with thanksgiving songs by the host choir of this year's conference, Area 'G' Mass Choir, Lagos. They rendered wonderful songs with Evangelist Odeyemi personally requesting for Baba Ara's Songs, as delegates were all dancing joyfully.
In his speech, Olu Bankole charges delegates to be high level Christian, because "the purpose of good behaviour or Christian life in Celestial Church is attaining the fullness of Christ. Meanwhile, Adesanya encouraged delegates to always seek the old path, "because it is the only path which can befound in Him (Christ) who liveth and died for our sins."
