The doctrines and tenets of our Church would always stir up debates, as conservative members of the Church would always have clash of thoughts and beliefs with the liberal members of the Church.

This recently happened when Liz Angel wrote about the need for female members of the Church to excuse themselves from the Church and its premises during their menstruation, as not doing so disengages the Holy Spirit from doing its works, as described by the tenet of the Church, which is sustained and backed by the generally agreed constitution of the Church, the Blue Book.

However, this did not go well with Oladele Idowu Joseph and Aderibigbe Samson Adesina, as seen in their reply to Liz's post on Facebook.

While Oladele and Aderibigbe expressed their belief in the role of Christ and the Holy Spirit in the Church, they however argued that Celestians need to free their psyche from the captivity of laws.

Oladele Idowu Joseph championed that it does not sound christian-like for one to submit that the flow of blood can prevent the Holy Spirit from working.

"The only spot I would disagree with you is: Flow of blood can prevent Holy Spirit from working. Common, it doesn't sound christianlike. Nothing, even our sins can prevent power of God to perform and manifest." he argued.

Joseph explained further that Celestians need to understand the sacrifice Christ paid, which has helped free Christians from the enslavement of the mosaic law.

"CCC collected its doctrines predominantly from old testament which heavily edged on laws, history and cultures of orthodox /ancient Israelites. But with sacrifice of Jesus Christ, these laws had been abolished and we have been henceforth freed from the bondage of laws.

"I am not castigating or relegating CCC, but we need to free our minds from the grips of mosaic laws. Jesus has paid and redeemed us from shackles of laws. And my Bible has made me believe so.

"Now, scriptural tenet of CCC supersedes Holy Bible? I don't think so.... Let the Holy Bible be our light, our guide and compass, and not tenet of a particular denomination."

On his part, Aderibigbe Samson Adesina counsel that Celestians are expected to enjoy grace.

"Celestial Church of Christ is Celestial Church of Christ, and so shall it be. We dwell in LULI, we walk in LULI. And we are expected to enjoy the GRACE." he wrote.
