The need for a proper and standard section for children and youth in the church has been described as important and should not be left in the control of anyone, but those who have the requisite knowledge and charism.

Brother Ola Ibukun asserted this position in an article, titled Sunday School In Celestial Church of Christ, where he opined that the section for the children and youth in the church is meant to be enveloped with the vision to promote spiritual, mental, social and physical growth for the children and youth.

He hinted that this can be done through interactive and educative programs that will expose them to spiritual and moral values in the church and society, and developing leadership skills among them.

Sadly, Ibukun declared that all these are often not the concern of many elders in various parishes, as these elders are quick to antagonize and dissolve good plans and innovations that will make the children and youth good christians and citizens.
